You need to write to the credit bureau, or see if they allow changes on-line.
If you pull your credit report … and yes do it with all three credit bureaus … you can add comments to any item on the report and do it all online. You can also dispute items you believe are in error. You are limited as to how much you can write … as I recall … maybe 80 characters or so … so you have to be pretty concise. You are legally entitled to get a free copy of your credit report from all three of the credit bureaus once a year, go to:
Once you answer a few questions you can retrieve your data online, print it, dispute errors, or add comments all online.

Don’t bother, creditors don’t read them. You would be better off writing a letter if one has an issue with something on your report. If you go for a home loan, for example, they may as you to do that anyway.
The easiest way for you to do so is to file a dispute online. However, it is also helpful to put everything in writing and a copy of that letter will stay with your credit report.
