To get all 3 credit reports, it is something like $14 (by 3, get 2 of them free). Sign up, look at it, print it, and unsubscribe.

Just call. Equifax, TransUnion, or umm.. the third one. …? Anyone, you’re entitled to two per year. Follow the prompts for a request and they’ll send you one in the mail.

Not sure if it is by law but you are entitled to a free credit report every year…google “free credit report”.
