Your report isn’t missing….it’s non-existent! You probably have never received a loan or had a credit card, so you have not established a credit rating yet.
There are a number of companies offering low limit credit cards for students…start there. If you are trying to get a bank loan, ask to speak to the manager. You need to convince him you have the ability to pay back a loan, so show him your paychecks. If you have been working for several months that will help. If you don’t have a job at all, don’t even bother.
You may also need to get someone to co-sign.
You have zero credit history on file for that credit bureau — so no credit report. You probably won’t like this answer because it involves putting money aside and time. Go to a credit union or bank. Tell them you are trying to build credit. Ask them about a secured credit loan. These are loans backed by money you place in a savings or CD. The minimum I’ve seen is $1000. Then the bank allows you credit up to that amount you have in savings/CD. Make sure they report to the credit bureaus. Otherwise your are building good credit history that never gets reported. There are other options, but this is the safest.
