If I understand your question, you disputed items online with one credit bureau but have to send letters to dispute items on the other two?

Your letter doesn't have to have special wording. Just list the incorrect items and why they are wrong. You don't need to send proof. The credit bureau contacts the creditor for verification. If the creditor doesn't verify within 30 days, the item is removed.

If the credit bureau responds to you that the creditor verified, you will have to send the creditor a validation request to include copies of contracts and other documentation that the debt is yours. Give them 30 days. If they fail to validate, dispute the item with the credit bureau again with a copy of the validation request indicating the creditor failed to validate. That will get it removed.

If the creditor does validate and the documentation proves it's not your debt, you can try to use that to back up your dispute with the credit bureau. But you will have to fight it out with the creditor as well.

That it is not your account and you are requesting a FULL verification. That way they can't just call, verify your social and consider it yours.

You need some verifiable evidence that the items are not valid. What is your grounds for dispute or are you just slinging mud to see if any sticks to the wall?

The ONLY SUCCESSFUL WAY to challenge & remove any discrepancy items is to show "ACTUAL" PROOF OF PAYMENT via CANCELLED CHECKS etc.

And Yes it does work! At the same time please remember that the PROOF of BURDEN is yours and prudent people keep record and their banks and financial institutions willingly cooperate as they do have the capability of retrieving copies of checks... In fact I recently got one for a check payment I made back in DEC 1999

Hope the Above Info Helps!

Equifax sent you a letter stating which accounts were removed. I would make a copy of that letter and attach it to a letter to the other bureaus requesting that they also remove the items.

If Equifax could not verify the items, how is it that the other bureaus could? Push hard, and you will eventually get what you want.

Good luck.
