There is no quarantee on getting approved for a credit card with bad credit. The easiest one that I know of to get approved with is First Premier Bank.
Imagine and Continental. They will give anyone a $300. card and charge you at least 1/2 or more of it in fees, but they do add that on the card so you do not pay it up front.
Remember- the MAIN reason they send you a card is to rip you off- charge you outrageous interest, fees, fines, etc. The more they can make off you, the more they like you!
If your credit is that messed up, it will be hard to get a card that offers good rates.
Besides- credit cards don’t fix credit quickly- they usually hurt it more easily than helping it.
A good way to get a quick start to fixing credit is to take out a small loan you can easily repay (see your credit union for this- usually the best deals!) Repay it when it is due- not too early (early payment of loans sometimes counts against you!)
Another nice thing about a credit union is that they can usually talk you through your credit score, etc. in a very fair and honest way. (Most ‘credit repair services’ are rip offs!)
Pre-Paid credit cards ( ) and Poor credit credit cards ( ) are your best choice for being approved. Most poor credit credit cards require a small down payment, however, not all do. Read the reviews of the cards before making your decision. Read the fine print. I found the Orchard bank platinum mastercard to be the best for poor credit individuals ( )

If the credit is messed up fix it before applying for even more credit.
At least if you were making a deposit it would show your desire to CHANGE the way you have handled credit in the past.
Your credit may not be as bad as you think. Try checking your Fico scores first before applying for an Imagine, First Premier (STAY FAR FAR AWAY), Tribute, Credit One or Continental card. I am sure there are some other sub prime cards that I just can’t think of right now.
Use discount code MW01 for 20% off your Fico score at MyFICO.com. Juniper Bank, HSBC & Capital one offer better credit builder cards than anyone in the banking industry (without a deposit).
– isn’t so bad either although the approval is not instant
Hooters & Juniper Bank use Transunion
HSBC pulls Experian
Capital One normally pulls all 3
A Credit card for people with bad credit is a form of borrowing that often involves charges. So it’s wise to compare terms and fees before you agree to open a credit or charge card account. Try looking for a credit cardwhich credit cards you should apply for? Shop around because not all credit cards for people with bad credit are created equal.
There is no deposit free secured card however the best value for one is thru Bank of America. If you are declined for a regular card for credit reasons, they will send you an offer to get a partial secured card in which you only deposit $99 up front and get a credit line of $500

Major credit card issuers like Discover, American Express and Chase offer a credit card for bad credit holders. A ‘shopping’ card offers you an unsecured line of credit from specific sellers. Use these cards to increase your credit rating, since the credit bureaus will be informed about your timely payments.
