You’re in the fair-good category. It depends on what else is on your credit report such as charge offs, judgements, etc. You may get approved for some decent cards but it all depends on what else is on your report.
Without actually seeing what makes up your scores no one can really tell you.
Scores are based on the following factors;
1. Pay history 35%
2. Time in bureau 15%
3. Types of credit 10%
4. New credit 10%
5. Debt to credit ratio 30%
To have the best score and profile you will need 3 credit card accounts (revolving) with balances below 30% of your credit limit and 2 cars, boats, homes, furniture accounts (installment)
all with good long payment history’s.
Do not be deceived by high scores, I look at credit everyday and see people with 700 scores but they can’t buy a car because all their score is made up of is 1 credit card with a $500.00 limit paid 15-times and a couple of student loans.
