I went through two different companies to get my credit report and each one was different? Freecreditreport.com (experian) said my PLUS score was 632 and Truecredit.com (transunion) has a much higher score of 675…….. how do I tell which one is legit?

Most lenders use an average of all three scores…so pull the 3rd score and average them (632+675+#3/3=average score)
BOTH. Your credit score is calculated based on the information from your credit report. If the information reported to each credit bureau is not exactly the same, and it NEVER is, each will compute a different score. FICO actually has slightly different formulas for each of the 3 major credit bureaus. All of them are your ‘real’ score.
It’s called “Mid-range”. Pick the one in the middle and you’ll have the answer.
