I am trying to raise my credit score by spending low on a credit card with a high limit. I currenty have a 652 credit score. Which card would offer the best chance to raise my credit this way?

Capital One has treat me pretty well, so I recommend that.

That’s not some thing any of us would be able to answer. That’s not a bad credit score it’s right on target for most Americans. I’m sure you could get a good limit with almost any credit card company. Be careful how many people u call each time they check your credit, your credit goes down about 15-25 points.

Your theory is flawed. Having a high limit actually hurts your ability to get financing. One of the things creditors look at when giving you credit is how much “available credit” you currently have, if you get a card with a 10k limit, they look at it as “this guy has the ability to spend 10k in one day” and you are a risk. If you keep your limits within reason, creditors will look at it as you can’t do too much damage. More importantly is how much you spend on it per month, and how much you pay. If you spend 1k on a 1k limit card per month, and you pay the full balance every month, you’re better off than spending $ 200 on a 10k limit card each month.
The card that will give you the best chance to boost your credit rating is the card that has the lowest interest rate. Pay that off promptly and you will probably get them to raise your line of credit.
If you can transfer your current balance to a credit card with a lower rate, you’ll get out of debt faster and save money to boot.

If you can show you’re a good credit risk you can apply for a higher amount with just about any bank and very high limits. I had credit companies throwing high limits at me so much I just cut them all up in the end.
They’re all money traps and if you get caught in them on the higher levels they’ve got you for life in trying to pay them back.
It pays just to keep one card and pay it out or pay extra into it to just for the convenience. If you caught in that debt circle you’ll never get out of it.
