I was just looking to see where my credit score puts me. As far as poor,fair,good, excellent.

If you are between 400-500 you are Very POOR!!!
hi do you know what your score is? the scale ranges from 300-850
300-620 is bad
620-680 is fair
680-720 is good and anything over that is excellent

You don’t have just one credit score; you have many scores, all calculated using different formulas. For example, each of the three credit reporting agencies (CRAs) has its own credit scoring formula and sells consumer credit scores based on those formulas on their websites.
Also, some large mortgage lenders and insurance companies have developed their own customized credit scores for making decisions about consumers (these credit scores are not available to consumers), and the Fair Isaac Corporation calculates a variety of different credit scores, including the FICO score.
Each of your credit scores changes constantly as information is added to or deleted from your credit fi les. So if your credit scores are low right now because you mismanaged your credit or experienced a financial setback like a job loss or a serious and costly illness, they will rise as your finances start to improve and as you begin repairing your credit histories, assuming that all of the information that you add to them during the rebuilding process is positive.
THE CRAs’ CREDIT SCORES
You can purchase a credit score from each CRA by going to its website. Your CRA credit scores will vary from CRA to CRA because each uses a different formula to calculate consumer credit scores, and because the information in your credit file varies from CRA to CRA. Another reason for the differences in your CRA credit scores is that each of them uses a different numerical range to rank your credit score. For example, Experian credit scores range from 330 to 830; Equifax credit scores fall somewhere between 300 and 850; and TransUnion scores range between 150 and 934.
