I’m looking for some credit cards, but my credit score is fairly good with experian and equifax, and transunion is not the best. Can you tell me what companies I could apply with? I have a 700 credit score on Exp, and Equ, but transunion is low 600′s. I don’t want a lot of inquiries on my credit file, so I felt to ask before I applied for the credit cards.

I recieved a noticed by experian today that I got three items deleted, but it is still showing up on my credit report and my credit score is still the same. My question is, how long do I have to wait until my credit report is updated? 30 days? thanks..

I have an error on my credit report, it shows an agency that has an account that is still open and in delinquent status, however the balance was settled in 2004. I sent an investigation inquiry through the experian website but still have not heard from them, this was over 11 months ago. Is there any getting through to these credit bureaus?

I disputed the items on my equifax and they were taken off. but they weren’t taken off the other two reports. The only way to dispute with those is to write a letter to them…Am I gonna have to write a million letters to get anything done? I’m just wanting to know the steps I should take to ensure an expediant outcome.

My question is will I be able to get a mortgage with good rates with the scores I have now?

I am 23 and my credit scores are: 582 Trans Union, 552 Experian, and 545 Equifax.

I have a number of medical bills that went to collection while I was in colllege. I have been paying those medical bills back a little at a time (I have a payment plan with the collection agency). And have two 30 days late (almost a year ago) on my car loan, and a 60 days late on a student loan.
I recently applied for a new secured credit card (which I hope to receive any day) and have been listed as an authorized user on my cousin’s credit card. My cousin has had her credit card for 2 yeas and has never been late.

I am currently working with a law firm that has actually gotten 6 items deleted from the three reports. So, my scores are a little better than they were.

I just feel that it is not right to be punished for getting sick (I had cancer) and not having insurance.
My current scores are 559 TransUnion, 618 Experian, and 557 Equifax.

The reason the Experian score is so much higher is that a new revolving account (my cousin’s credit card) has reflected on that report. I am expecting the credit card to reflect on the other reports soon.

If the other scores jump anything like the Experian score, I expect the others to be around 610.

I just turned 18 today, but a couple of days ago I asked for a credit report from Experian, Well it says that my credit started before I turned 18 and the dates look like I was about 15 or 16. It says I have a potentially negative item. I don’t remember this, but doesn’t your credit start counting at the age of 18? Isn’t it a law or something because you have to be 18 everywhere to buy anything.

There’re so many sites out there that will provide you with all three major credit bureau reports (Experian, TransUnion & Equifax) and many do provide a free trial but, once the free trial is done that’s when they start their hefty monthly fees on your acct. I’m looking for the cheapest out there which will provide me with all three acurate reports and still be the most affordable. Has anyone done some research on this and provide me with the cheapest site? Thank you!

My score is highest on Equifax 704, but on my Transunion it is a 620. I know in order to get approved and get a good rate my score needs to be high. Are there any companies that only look at one credit report?

I know that when credit agencies (equifax, experian, transunion) recieve frequent or multiple requests from 3rd parties for your credit report, they will lower your score based on suspicion. Does requesting the free annual credit report affect this? Will they count this along with the other requests?

I tried emailing the FTC and the credit companies, but theres no way to reach them for general inquiries w/out being a customer.

I have been unable to get anyone on the phone at the Campus Partners via the number they give at 800-344-8609 and cannot seem to find the right directory for filing disputes in their automated response system. I have already initiated a dispute via Experian’s credit expert. Please help me find out how to get a live person on the phone with Campus Partners. I’ve also already tried pressing 0 and # and * all the usual keys that indicate “operator” in similar systems.
One issue I am having is getting a live person on the phone. I have no idea how to get a live person from Campus Partners on the phone. Their automated response system will not let me get to an operator or any person. As a result I cannot ask them any questions or collect necessary information to file a complaint with the BBB.
