I left the apartment building without getting evicted on my own will, It didn’t show up on my experian public record, but on some safe rent agency screening form. How do I remove this as I searched the court records and stated the case was dismissed?

pamens88 wants to know:

I have applied for a credit card with bank of america several times and i have been denied i checked my credit history and im seeing wrong information which led to the denial of my credit card applications. Can i sue for damages? and experian does not even have a fax or telephone number where i can call to dispute the information on my credit report. They listed my birthday as 1985 instead of 1988 which caused collection agency debts that i owed when i was 17 to be posted on my account because they listed my birthday 1985 it showed that i was 20 when the debts came in but i was actually 17.

1. Do you have a fax or phone number where i can reach experian? (I get an error messege with the online dispute form)
2. Can i sue for damages since they caused me to be denied for a credit card over 2 times

I have some medical bills from when I didn’t have medical insurance. I noticed that TransUnion and Experian are no longer listing it in their report, but equifax is. They will is about 25K because it was emergency surgery. The deby is from 2004. i thought it stays on record for like 10 years?

My old bank that has been bought out by another bank had reported to Equifax that I owed $$. I disputed it with the old bank but it’s still on my report. The new bank says they cannot help me.All I get is the run-around from everyone I’ve spoken to. If anyone knows how to resolve this PLEASE answer back.

I have a combination of Open, Closed, Revolving, consolidated and unconsolidated student loans, and a couple credit cards I have never used. I have averaged these in many different ways but have not yet arrived at the “Average Account Age” that is reported in the Equifax credit report. For those who haven’t purchased their report, an “average account age” is given, and the longer it is, the better for one’s credit score. Hopefully someone who has a simpler credit history can shed some light on how it is calculated. Thanks!

Im in the process of getting a mortgage and all of a sudden this(collections) pops up on my Equifax credit file. I know it will hurt my score already. I need to know the best way to go about getting it removed. I heard even if you pay it off it will remain as a negative. Any good advice?

A wants to know:

I’ve heard different things..make it simple for me, please. Okay, say I dispute a neg. credit on my report&Equifax investigates.IF the company that filed a negative report doesn’t get back within a certain time limit confirming, is it erased? Eradicated? Or after a certain amount of months, I could dispute again&see if they make the deadline? Please clarify for me, if u can.

Please provide information about experiance or knowledge relating to the amount of time it takes to repair ones credit after a chapter 7 bankruptcy. All loans reaffrimed thru bankruptcy have always been on track and have remained current. Any info provided would be a great help. Thanks

I recently had two inaccurate accounts removed from my TransUnion credit report. Since TransUnion has already verified their inaccuracy and removed them, what’s the best way to make sure Equifax and Experian are on the same page?

Short of the obvious,is anyone fimiluar with working with a specific “bad credit” repair company. I have been told they can pretty much wipe your credit clean and find that very hard to believe. I have tax leins and a discharged bankruptcy on my report and was told they can wipe that out.Very doubtful i believe, and dont want to just start throwing money out to these people with no results. Can anyone reccommend the best and safest solution in repairing my history and what actually can be removed?

Ok, I have a credit score of 504. Of the 40 items on my credit report 37 are old medical and the other 3 are paid as requested which are home, car, and one credit card.
Do I go ahead and try to repair the credit or file bankruptcy?
Before or after selling a home?
